Default Camshaft installation 5.7 Hemi Ram

I'm installing the Comp Cam 273H in my 2004 5.7 Hemi Ram. Has anyone ran in to problems with this change as far getting the correct 117 degree centerline degreed in? How about piston to valve clearance? I've got the NGC powertrain controller ready to send to a competent programmer. Am I forgetting or overlooking any other concerns?

We did one recently and found it a very simple job. As far as I know, the only way to get to the back springs on the drivers side is to pull the brake booster. We installed the cam dot to dot and the truck runs great.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi! What i would like to see is pistons for combinations like,5.7 heads on 6.1 block for different strokes. the 5.7 heads have greater volume than 6.1 (84cc vs 76cc) and the compression drop when we do the switch.Good flow and high vélocity of the 5.7 heads is perfect for small cubic inches engines up to 426 ci with moderate RPM.

Thanks
