Got my eye on a 67 hardtop plymouth. Wouldnt mind looking into a 6.1 swap with a KB maybe down the road. What is everyone else looking into? Any links or insight? I seen a GTX and some challenger/cudas done....

 

We should be getting into our 66 Valiant signet project about mid year. What body are you looking at?

6.1 in a light car would be a lot of fun.

only problem is finding that 6.1. mopar seems to wanna keep this stuff to herself thse days.

I can usually get 6.1's if you need one, or we can turn a 5.7 into a 6.1 or even a 392 no problem.

We have a 67 Cuda that is going to get a HEMI one of these days, for now I think Stu is putting a R1/w9 or something (I know little about old school Mopars) in it.

 

you can get stuff if you pay enough money.........

The supply is short however..........

We are discussing building a car too............we have most of it figured out but the intakes are up in the air. I'm not too interested in spending $3k on a Wilson or Hogan.

 

still dont mean its right. you should be able to buy a 6.1 at cost. mopar is screwing therselves with this restriction thing. now if i lived in canada, it would be a differant story.

heck, i know some people in canada. maybe ill start importing motors that way and sell them that way some local shops can screw people over anymore with the price.
