Quickening 12-30-2006, 01:35 AM We should be getting into our 66 Valiant signet project about mid year. What body are you looking at? 6.1 in a light car would be a lot of fun. BLWN1 12-30-2006, 09:25 AM Its a satellite/belvedere gremlinsteve 12-31-2006, 03:37 PM only problem is finding that 6.1. mopar seems to wanna keep this stuff to herself thse days. steve Beast 2 12-31-2006, 05:42 PM I can usually get 6.1's if you need one, or we can turn a 5.7 into a 6.1 or even a 392 no problem. We have a 67 Cuda that is going to get a HEMI one of these days, for now I think Stu is putting a R1/w9 or something (I know little about old school Mopars) in it. MomsR/T 01-01-2007, 02:51 AM you can get stuff if you pay enough money......... The supply is short however.......... We are discussing building a car too............we have most of it figured out but the intakes are up in the air. I'm not too interested in spending $3k on a Wilson or Hogan. gremlinsteve 01-01-2007, 09:48 AM still dont mean its right. you should be able to buy a 6.1 at cost. mopar is screwing therselves with this restriction thing. now if i lived in canada, it would be a differant story. heck, i know some people in canada. maybe ill start importing motors that way and sell them that way some local shops can screw people over anymore with the price. steve BLWN1 01-04-2007, 09:23 PM hopefully going to look at the car sunday..... |
