New Hemi sling a rod FOR NO GOOD REASON
I know this is a Modern Hemi site with a lot of success stores out there.
But I wonder how many of you have heard of the poor owners that suffer catastrophic engine failure for NO GOOD REASON.
I mean Low mileage, perfect maintenance, start up in the morning,-slings a rod.
Or in my case, 130K miles, wife driving back from work 50mph, slings a rod. PERFECT maintenance record with NO prior issues.
These cases are out there.
Read this thread and tell me what you think.
Some have been in warranty and make Chrysler replace the engine, some are out of warranty and Chrysler said suck on it.

Before anyone yells BS or wants to blame non-exist maintenance, I'm on the list and I'm a maintenance freak.
I have been building MoPars for nearly 25 years and I have run them HARD racing them. I have NEVER had one sling a rod, much less just driving 50 mph down the highway.
