first off hello everyone im new to the forum and ive been searching for info to build my 5.7

i have a 5.7 block and crank

6.1 parts list
heads
intake includes injectors and throttle body
cam
lifters
push rods
connecting rods


i know this has probably been discussed a million times over but i would like some help from people who have done the build

what else do i need and what are the recomendations

 

Right now I am looking at doing the same build some time and I am looking for the same answer. I would imagine you can use 6.1 parts on a 5.7, because for the reserch I have done, on Jegs, they sell almost everything you would need to build a drag pack 6.1 Hemi, and all the parts say that they are all compatible with the 5.7 Hemi as well. so i would say yes based on that but I don't know about stock 6.1 Hemi parts. just my 2 cents
