anyone know the part number for the 5.7 to 6.1 coil packs i cant seem to find them thanks

 

what year is your truck?
are you talking about puting the SRT8 (6.1L)coils on your truck(5.7)?
why is that?

 

They are the same part.......no difference

 

Depends on the year.....early 5.7 coils where coil on plug w/plug wire to opposite bank.....later 5.7 coils are dual coil on plug like the 6.1 coils. I swapped out the early style for the later style on my 2004 5.7. You need 8 later style coils, later style valve covers and later style wiring harness connectors.
