Chrysler's automatic rocks, or the 465-hp HEMI is underrated.

The auto trans behind the Chrysler products is actually an old Mercedes transmission. It's called the nag. Don't k ow why just is. Anyway i work for Chrysler and I'm the tranny tech at my shop. When it it comes to transmissions German engineering is hard to beat. You can put this tranny in gear and turn the input shaft you hand. Almost no parasitic power loss. If have yet to see an American trans do the same you usually have to use a hand tool to turn the input shaft and it's takes some effort. The 392 was limited to 470hp because that's all the tranny can handle. There's a new 8hp90 coming out 8 gears supper low gears and awesome German engineering and will handle tons more torque.
