Problems with keys
Started this new thread instead of adding to my existing one. I want to see if anyone else is experiencing problems with their keys on their Dodge.
I had two keys break on me, as has my friend. The metal tongs that hold the battery in place and supply power to the keys broke. One of my keys was covered by the warranty (neither of his were).
On a side note, the dealer said the process would take a few hours. When I got my vehicle back, the electronics were acting weird (static in the speakers, random lights flashing). The dealer said the problem wasn't related to what they did. Long story short, the dealership covered the random act of irony.

From what the dealer told me, these keys were a bad batch and they have switched suppliers. If thats the truth, you should be okay. But it pisses me off that they know about this problem yet I will have to pay for a new key.
