I don't sell bad parts and won't play this guys game. I sold him a functioning cd changer and he expects me to refund him for damage his son probably did installing it.
The first damage he claimed it had could not have come from shipping, the second story he told me could have come from shipping but I think loose parts would have been noticed right away.
I was going to work with him until he tried to get a PayPal refund that was more than he paid for the changer.

Well rather then go the name calling route all I will say is this. I paid you in full, I got a cd changer that would not work. I notified you and told you I would have a stereo shop check it out, which I did. It arrived with loose parts inside, and now that I have another changer I can see that the loose parts are part of the mechanism that ejects the cd's.

I requested a refund plus the shipping cost for shipping it back to you. You refused the box because you "didn't know who it was from". Yeah, all of us do that.

So I paid you in full. I returned the part after promptly telling you it arrived damaged. I even asked you what you thought was fair, and so far apparantly you think cheating my son going to serve in Afghanistan is the fair thing to do. I guess folks can make up their own mind if they should deal with you or not.

I've given you every opportunity to make it right, or at least make some sort of effort and you've refused. Folks should know how you operate. That simple. You are neither honest or fair, or even want to make an effort to be either.

You spin a good tale, I hope your son doesn't learn too much from you. I know he will have better role models in the service.

We are both stand up guys who admit if things are our responsibility, as I told you I would. There was NO damage from a screw of any kind. Verified by the stereo shop. You could have verified that if you'd had the courtesy to even open the return box and check. Simply loose parts inside, that would still be the responsibility of the seller (aka-you), even if it happened in shipping to us.

Just as any seller assumes responsibility and then they (YOU) take it up with the shipper. The buyer does not have that responsibility as you suggested.

You got paid. You got notified asap there was a problem. You even got the item back, of which I have not seen hide nor hair of, and yet you still have done nothing to make it right. It's very apparent who the folks are with integrity here and who isn't.
