I bought these tires from SSCAMARO1384.I had them sent to my mailbox which is a 2 1/2 hour drive from my house.The tires arrived shrink wrapped and I pulled back the wrap to check the tread.They looked ok.I left them in the wrap as my car was apart and I didn't need them at the time.2 months later I sold them and when the buyer came to pick them up I pulled off the shrink wrap.We load the tires into his car and he notices that the bead on one tire is ripped about 3"s and the other tire also has a smaller rip.Obviously who ever demounted the tires was an idiot.I notified Rob (SSCAMARO1384) of the damage and he didn't return my PM.I gave him a week.I sent another PM and all he said was it was too long ago and no one would believe me.No questions on the damage,didn't ask for pics.That sounded fairly guilty to me.The time it took me to find the damage has nothing to do with it.If I had bought a block and had it built and put in the car 3 months later does that mean I would have no case if I found out the block was cracked?I sent him the money,he sent me the tires and the tires are unusable.Period.The seller did not want to even talk about some kind of compensation.$300 means nothing to me.I just hate getting ripped off by some cheap nickel and dime racer and I would never risk my reputation for such a small amount.
