Sorry you felt like giving me negative feedback. I can understand why you felt like doing so, but I don't think it was necessary.

Ask the average person if they are told for 3-weeks that you are coming to get parts, then, "nevermind". Yep, they'd be a "hot head"...

I do believe your claims of 3 weeks are not correct and stretching the truth. Trying to make yourself look like a victim is a nice ploy and doesn't smell right, weak at best. My pm dates will disagree with your statement. Buying and selling is a risk at best and people often change there minds. It's part of the business world. I'm sure you never changed your mind when buying something or canceled an order when saying you wanted to buy. At least your statements are making that implications.
I kept in contact with you and it was all fine until I told you other wise. when I had to change pickup dates, you could have said deal is off at any time and go to the next buyer. Loading 2 boxes in your Trailblazer must have been exhausting work, which I do apologize not notifying you sooner. Looking back, I'm glad I backed out of doing business with you from your "after sale reactions."
Truthfully, I hope you sale the glass quickly without issues as the price is excellent and no need to keep this testosterone pumping. Cliff

You said you wanted them on 6/30 if my date is correct. You changed your pickup up date from 7/11 to 7/18 since you could not make the weekend of July 4th, which is understandable. So, it's darn near 3-weeks.
My issue is that I changed plans with my family TWICE to accomodate you, and was helping you out to save around 1-hour each way by driving north of where I live. Furthermore, it was me contacting you to find out you changed your mind late on Friday night. That's why I was a "hot head" over it.
Yes, there are nothing guaranteed in business, especially internet-based, but, no, I have never backed out on a deal on eBay, the web, or here, UNLESS there was something wrong or misrepresented. For example, a guy a while back was going to sell me a 3.5" y-pipe, supposedly 3.5" all the way...he sent a pic, and it was obviously 3" all the way, just with the collector interfaces stretched to 3.5". He confirmed that to be the case, so, yes, I did "back out", but, it was not what he represented initially.
There is also a difference if your reason was something where situations truly dictate backing out: job loss, family concerns, etc. I've said my position, you have yours. Hot tempered, yes, hold grudges no.
This is not to appease you, but I do think your car looks nice, and if our paths cross sometime, either come over and have a beer or a Coke, or tell me to go "fuck myself", as I'm okay with that either way because our bantering is not exactly changing our viewpoints. Dave

Well, bottom line. I hated to not go through with the deal as it is a great deal. But, I did and that's that. I don't blame you for being up set as your point of view makes since. I could explain several other reason why I did not contact you sooner but it's water under the bridge. I'm often in Dallas and this fall several of my friends will be headed to Enis to race when the weather cools off. Maybe by then we can meet up and have a Coke and race. I think we would like each other in person................lol
Again good luck with the sale. Cliff
