I purchased the intake and TB on jan 1st. Was told the intake was good conditon ready to bolt on. Waited 3 and a half weeks to recive the intake int he mail. When i opened the packaged and intspeced the intake it had metal chunks inside the intake. I informed the seller of this he was not aware till i showed him pictures of what i had pulled out of the intake. He later said that the motor droped a valve. But when the intake was purchased these details were not inclluded. I was told great conditon and ready to go.I had to take it to a local speed shop to have it cleanded. Which was 46 dallors out of my pocket. When i was told it was ready to bolt on. Also it had missing hardware that was so post to come with the intake that was not recived when the intake was recived. The seller was in good contact but ever since the problems with the intake were found he has yet to be herard from.

The intake manifold was in good working condition, no cracks or anything, it actually was on my car and was ran for 3-5 minutes and was shut off due to a what I thought was a leaking cylinder head gasket. At that time I opted to to install a 6 liter instead of messing with my current set up any longer, at this time I had put misc parts up for sale that were on said vehicle.
I had explained to KilerTA that the vehicle was not in my possession and I work from 7am-6pm daily and I was relying on the shop that car was at to pull the intake manifold off, myself and KilerTA had been communicating through PM's and it was said to not be a problem with the length of time it was taking. I then shipped the intake out through UPS and it was rather expensive but I shipped it and asked that he paid half of the shipping and he did like a good buyer even thought it was expensive.
About 2 weeks later I get a series of pm's:
"Did you send out the bolts for the valley cover? if not it wont bolt down with out smashing the intake or cracking it? "
"Also i was inspecting the intake and there metal/shaveing chunks in the intake any reason why? was this off a motor that blew up?"
"Ok heres what i dont understand you posted up saying you had a fast 90 intake for sale in good condition nothing wrong. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-pa...-90-combo.html Now i have a intake with metal all through out the inside which there shouldnt be. correct what should we do to fix the problem? Alsp would you like me to send you some pics of the intake with the shaveing in it?"
Here is the link to the shavings that could have been cleaned out with some solvent or brake clean.

I understand why he is upset but he is also making a huge stink over something that was obviously not known at the time until the heads were pulled off the car after I sent out the intake manifold. He asked if I would cover half of the cleaning of the intake and I opted to help out to be fair and a good sales person. I also never received the valley cover bolts from the person I bought it from so I used some stainless steel allen headed bolts that cost $4.00 at a local hardware store. I Also said I would ship those to him if needed, he never replied back.
All in all the intake was in perfect working order, came with throttle body, all o rings and intake manifold bolts, had I known my piston to valve clearance was an issue and coused transfer I would not have shipped the intake without being cleaned or letting the buyer know what was up.
