After soliciting for an LS2 in the WTB section I received a PM from Greinder03 saying he had an ls2 longblock with under 10k miles for 2500 shipped. I was told that his friend owned a shop and this was a customer take out motor that the owner wanted to go with an iron block for a TT setup.

The price seemed to good to pass up so I said I would take it and immediately sent the funds through paypal. After it was paid for he told me it would be picked up by R & L on the following monday which was 7 days after he received payment and that was giving him the weekend to pull it out, and "package" it.

After it didnt go out monday, I waited patiently even after every couple of days I got a new excuse why it wasnt shipped out. He told me that R & L was super busy and the pick up date was scheduled. At almost 2 weeks I was worried so I took it into my hands to call R & L and they told me that there was no pick up date scheduled for his last name!! I called him and asked him what was with that, and he was defensive and said " I can't believe you would go behind my back and call R & L." WHY THE HELL WOULDNT I???? At almost 3 weeks now anyone would wonder where their 2500 dollars is! More excuses about him having a busy work scheduled he finally sent me a pic of R & L picking it up 3 and a half weeks later. Which is unacceptable by anyones standards.

Btw I was renting a car to get around while the car was down, and he knew this. When I received the motor it was ratchet strapped to a plastic pallet sitting on the oil pan.. WTF? It looked like a child shipped the motor. The fuel line was still attached to the rail and had been cut instead of disconnected, the large hose to the water pump was also left cut Now if the owner wanted to go with a TT setup why the fuck would you cut the fuel line/ hose to the water pump?? something didnt add up there either.

I also had a small nut fall out of the intake port when I flipped the motor on the eng stand. That really pissed me off, what if I were to start the fucker with that in there? Due to the fact i was renting a car and short on time I did not have the chance to pull the heads, the car is sitting now that I have my bike back and I cannot say that this is a good running motor yet. But if there is anything wrong I will be getting my money refunded, or I WILL be on a plane to michigan to work this out!

nice threat at the end, and it is a perfectly good running motor, and you should always turn a motor upside down to check for things like that anyways. ill be coming out there if you wanna do somethin, let me know
