I need some help and advise;
69TA, Kevin, posted a listing for Fikse wheels and in it he also stated that he had PS2 tires for sale.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...highlight=69TA
I contacted him via PM to inquire about the tires. In my first inquiry I asked him to confirm that the tires were 295/30/18's. He replied that they are 295/30/18's and offered them to me for $650 shipped and gave me his paypal address. He used his rating on LS1Tech as a reference.
I then told him that I wanted all 4 tires (to include 2 new 315/30/18's that he was also selling). He told me $1299 shipped. I again confirmed the size of the fronts as I had not seen anything but a tread pic of those.
I agreed and paypaled him $1299 that day. He shipped 5 days later after telling me that he would ship "whenever the money gets here".
When the tires arrived the fronts were 295/35/18's. I can not use these and I emailed Kevin and told him that. He told me he "wasn't even paying attention to that" and went on to tell me that these were what I needed.
He also complained of the shipping cost and the paypal fees and said that he had not asked for paypal payment. Trying to make this work I sent him another $40 to cover the fees.
Kevin continues to refuse to make this right. I have used the 2 rear tires as I needed them when I bought them. I offered to ship the 2 back to him for $500 shipped, a ~$100 loss that I am willing to absorb to make make this go away. He says that he will not accept that as I have "broken up the set". HUH? they were offered separately to me. He did offer to refund my money if I sent him back all 4.
I have filed a paypal dispute and would like some advise from you all. All the PM's and emails are available for perusal.

I gave this guy a break on the price by paying for the shipping and shipped promptly during one of the busiest time of the year on a holiday weekend.
The whole time he was very rude....breaking balls about this that and the other thing. Wanting pics of everything. Constantly kept sending tons of emails asking for this, asking for that, whole time acting like I wasn't shipping anything and or was going to steal his money. Even sent pictures of the tires. Claims he never got the pictures.
Greg gets his tires as shown from my original for sale post for the tires.

DECIDES he wants to keep just the rears and that he should get a refund for the fronts at a price he deemed ok.
Who wouldn't want that? The brand new 315 rears alone are over $1000.
If you want to treat people and every online transaction like a store than you must understand store policies.
And that is if you are not happy with something and would like a refund if refunds are even offered, then you must return the items as originally sold to you in it's entire content, not partial. Shipping would be at the buyer's cost and expense. In some cases there is even a 20% restocking fee applied on top of the loss of shipping charges.
