I bought this car and it has been a nightmare ever since. The car broke after about 20 minutes and cost me nearly $2,000 in repairs just so it would run. Then I found out the catalytic converters were not on the car so I can't get past emissions testing. Also, all but the 2 front speakers were removed from the car, which in my opinion is really sinking low when a person takes the factory speakers out before selling you a car. I got a quote from a Chevy dealer and they said the repairs would be over $5,000. I tried to call the people and get them to help me out with these expenses but got no call back. I even had a lawyer send a demand letter to try to recover some of the money but got no response. My only option left now is to sue them, so I'm working on that right now. I would not recommend ever buying anything from this person.

I believe that we did send you $400 when you had the clutch go out on you, so get your facts strait. I was not aware that the clutch was going out, and maybe it had something to do with the fact that you don't know how to drive a standard car. I wish I could help you out more, but you win some and you lose some. That is one of the disadvantages of buying a car from an individual. I was in no way trying to scam you or make the car seem like it was something that it was not. The car drove fine for me for 30,000 miles and 40,000 for someone else, and I don't think it was just chance that as soon as you get in it, it falls apart. I also don't know how you came out with $5000 worth of stuff that needed to be replaced from a burnt out clutch, are you planning on replacing the motor and transmission along with it? I guess you learned your lesson; look at a car before you buy it. And as for you and your big headed lawyer that doesn't even use a legal letter head or legal paper, good luck with wasting your time and money in court trying to sue, as there was no terms of sale other than "as is".
