I bought a package of heads/tb and a ported FAST intake from him. Before I purchased it I asked him to make sure it wasn't damaged. He said it was in perfect shape.
The day I receive the stuff, I open up the box and right away I see that the FAST intake he sent me has been through hell and back. It looks like it had some kind of nitrous explosion, as the rear portion of it is full of JB weld/epoxy. It wasn't even done right. They epoxied the two shells together. I can't even take it apart if I ever needed to. what happens if the inside gaskets need to be replaced? He even epoxied over the MAP sensor opening. How do I install a map sensor on it without a whole??
I have his phone number(had as he changed it on me) and sent him a text the SAME DAY I recieved the intake to confront him for sending me this junk. He kept making excuses, saying that he needs to talk to the "painter" that painted this intake . I dont know who he is trying to BS, because no painter painted this intake. Its a rattle can job, and a very poor one at that!
He then said that the guy that he purchased the intake from originally from wants it back and is willing to do a trade with me for another NON PORTED intake. Well I didn't pay over a grand for a NON ported intake, why should I do that trade? Also why should I have to pay shipping to do the trade?
He later agreed that it was damaged, and told me he would give me a partial refund due to the damaged intake, but can't do so until on Saturday the 12(today). Today he sends me a PM and now he claims that this isn't the same intake that he sent me, that I am trying to scam him! The nerve of this guy. Look at his feedback, look at mine. I buy stuff on here all the time. He is a newbe trying to pull a fast one on me.
I asked him to give me the number on the "painter" that supposedly painted this intake, and he refused. Then I asked him to give me the number of the person he claims sold him the intake in the first place, and he refused as well.
Scammer? Sure sounds like it to me.
Prety much the intake he sent me isn't worth anyting. I can't use on my customers car. I am stuck with a worthless intake now. He already changed his phone number so I can't get a hold of him. What a POS!
Do not do any business with this guy. I will let paypal settle this claim. If they can't do anything I will take this scammer to court.
