Sold him and intake that was not damaged and after a month i get an email saying that the intake was damaged and that i needed to pay for half of the repair. so i requested a receipt and/or pictures because i was unaware of any damage and we would go from there once i received it. Buyer thought i should just go on his word that it was damaged and didnt want to provide me with a receipt or pictures of the damage. Once he realized that there was no way for him to get money from me other than being a reasonable person (he already burned that bridge) he stopped responding

Do not believe a word he says. Look at his feedback, look at mine! He is a scammer. He sold me a damaged intake. The only reason I didn't contact him right away is because I accidently erased my PM's and I had no idea who I bought it from. I eventually figured out I could track him down by using his email address from the paypal payment.
After I emailed him, I requested to know what his name on LS1Tech is, and the scammer WOULD NOT tell me. Why would he not tell me his name on here if he had nothing to hide? He knows very well he sold me a damaged intake. Thats why he had me send payment to an UNVERIFIED PAYPAL account. Because I can't file a claim against him due his account not being verified.
About the invoice, I didn't get one originally as I had a machinist fix the intake on the side for me. But since this guy kept insisting I get him an invoice, I told him if thats what it takes, I will get one. Thats when he dissapeared and stopped responding to my emails.
I only asked him to pay me half of what it cost to repair the intake, which was $75 out of his pocket. He charged me $1025 for a broken intake..What type of guy is this. If you sell junk, atleast price it accordingly and let the buyer know what he is getting.

He knew exactly that the intake was damaged. He claimed thats how he recieved it and was unaware of any damage, YET I know for a fact it was on his car, from when I researched his previous posts before I purchased the intake from him. It was on his MOD list!
He deleted the thread that he had posted about the intake being installed on his car as a MOD, and he deleted the For Sale thread that he had posted for the intake. Hmm, if he is not hiding anything, then ask him where is the For Sale thread of the intake? Was he trying to hide his tracks? This guy is a scammer and should seriously be banned from the forum. We dont need newbes like this ruining it for the rest of us.
