Dodge to auction first three Challengers

Dodge will be premiering their brand new retro muscle car at the Februari Chicago Motor Show. But before the HEMI V8 powered Challenger can make its global show debut, the first three units will be auctioned for charities. The units will be Dodge Challenger SRT8 models and will have a numbered dash plaque.

Dodge Challenger No. 1 will be auctioned at the famous Barret-Jackson Collector Car Auction (37th annual edition this year) and all proceedings will benefit notMYkid.

Dodge Challenger No. 2 will benefit United Way of Southeastern Michigan and the auction will take place at a private auction for Dodge dealers and will commence September 26th already!

Dodge Challenger No. 3 will be auctioned through eBay, its starting date will be announced later.

So for all of you with deep pockets, here's your chance to buy a piece of history and support good causes at the same time.

What is the projected date of sale? Spring 08 ect.....

i think 09 are they making it automatic with autostick first or does any body know

or also making a six speed they said it was gonna have a viper trans

the 1st sold for i think it was over 100k i can't remember the exact price but i have a feeling the 3rd on ebay will bring more money then the other did at barett jackson

The first one went for 400K. I agree with you on the ebay thing. can't wait to see what happens.
