The regular rotors, or the slotted rotors? I have the slotted rotors and they're doing fine so far -- and I'm known for being a little hard on brakes

i got them replaced under warranty because it was an 06 and didnt have the slotted ones i waited until after i raced them to get them changed for phree!

2 things help warp rotors, 1) lugs are on too tight. 2) you keep your foot on the brake pedal after heavy braking and the rotors are super hot.

Wow two years since the last post. I hate it when rotors warp. They either last for forever or your replacing them every year.

I'd make sure that the rotors are warped by runout. You could have pad build up instead. One thing that you can try instead of buying a new set is take some 100grit sandpaper...a dual action sander and scuff the front and backside of the rotors. Then do the same to the front face of the pads. What you have done is cleaned off any pad build up on the rotor and pad so you can start with a new contact surface to bed the brakes. Now go out and bed the brakes in by doing 3 medium stops from 30mph to 10mph. If you are feeling pulsation in the brake pedal, most likely your rotors are warped and they need replacing or they need to get turned. If not, do 4-5 more hard stops, from 60mph to 15mph until you smell the brake pads. Drive around to let the brake temp cool down doing normal stops.
You should be all good.
