Lighten that land yacht a few hundred pounds, add a manual transmission, and fix the fuckin tuning problems on that motor, and they would have a killer car. I might be able to forgive the fact they named a four door "Charger". thehemi 07-21-2007, 07:08 AM I love the look of this car and would probably buy one if the they came in manual why dont these cars come in manual :ripped: Keisler makes a 6-speed conversion kit for them. http://www.keislerauto.com/mopar/transmissions/6-speed.html What would be killer would be a 6-speed SRT8 wagon! :drive: EXTREME 07-21-2007, 11:08 AM yea, keisler has the 6-spd and Diablo is releasing tuning for it in august! chiefbadass 07-25-2007, 07:54 AM Because It's A Freakin Four Dour, I Think They Should Redesign Em Make A Bitmore Retro And A Two Door And They've Got It, But As Of Now The Car Wood Look Better If It Had A Different Name Charger Are Supposed To Be Performance Cars chargerR/T 10-13-2007, 10:30 PM Because It's A Freakin Four Dour, I Think They Should Redesign Em Make A Bitmore Retro And A Two Door And They've Got It, But As Of Now The Car Wood Look Better If It Had A Different Name Charger Are Supposed To Be Performance Cars 1) you need to learn how to spell 2) the srt8 is very much a performance car, just drive one to see for yourself! Hell Ride 01-22-2008, 11:00 PM the srt-8 chargers and 300c's will have manual trannys by 2009-2010. It'll be when they become based off of the LY platform for the Challenger. The Challenger will be the first one to have a T-56, followed by the 300C, and then the Charger, but with the 300Cs and the Chargers, it will be SRT models only where as the Challenger will have 6-speeds available in the 5.7 and the 6.1 Hemis. This is still a rumor but it's almost impossible that Dodge/Chrysler expects to develop a new tranny for JUST the Challenger then release it and expect to turn a profit. I think putting it into the 300C and Chargers would allow them to turn a profit more easily. Hell Ride 01-22-2008, 11:07 PM I plan on purchasing an SRT-8 Challenger in a few years and I'm on my way. |
