This stunning 1970 Dodge Challenger, custom pro-touring machine was hand built and owned by the Roadster Shop, winners of 2009 Street Machine of the Year Award, the 2009 Trend Setter Award, and the GM Design Award. This is a brand new car debuting at Russo and Steele. With 2,500 hours of custom fabrication this car was completed in December of 2009. This build is completely documented with photos and renderings. No expense was spared building this spectacular time machine, only the finest parts were used to create this car.

528ci aluminum Indy racing Hemi engine puts out 750 HP @ 6600 RPM and 675FT LBS of torque @ 4800 RPM, Demon carb Aeromotive fuel system with stainless custom tank, hand built big tube full length headers with 3" stainless exhaust system and x-pipe. Tremec TKO 500 5-speed manual trans with a hydraulic throw out bearing.
New tubular K-member with tubular a-arms, Mustang II spindles, QA1 double adjustable shocks, Wilwood 13" disk brakes custom tubular sub-frame connectors. Rear suspension is Heidt's independent, inboard Wilwood disk brakes are a custom installation. Engine compartment is completely smoothed along the firewall, radiator is hidden beneath a custom core support cover. All machined stainless fasteners with custom washers in the engine bay and a hidden 3-speed wiper motor. Interior has a leather covered dash pad with custom gauge panel, electric Autometer gauges are programmable by remote to change colors, flash warning lights dim, and incorporate shift lights. All 4 power windows, vintage air unit hidden under dash with a billet controller in dash. All interior panels hand made by one of the top upholstery shops in the industry from top quality leather and suede. The trunk is fully upholstered as well. Audio system is made up of an Alpine head unit, 4 Rockford Fosgate speakers, RF amp. and 10" sub hidden in the trunk. Custom Grey paint is a Roadster Shop mix with a custom satin charcoal on the hood and trim. Graphics have countless hours of work in them and are done by one of the best in the business. The wheels are 19x9 in the front and 22x12 in the rear by Budnik Wheels and are powder coated and wrapped in Pirelli tires.
